Environmental Science Building

In 2005, in response to the Commonwealth Government policy initiative Research Quality Framework, UniSA has made a strong commitment to strengthen its research related activities. It plans to develop infrastructure that can support the growth and quality of research through the Major Capital Works Program. As part of UniSA’s focus on research, a new building for the Centre for Environmental Risk Assessment and Remediation (CERAR) and Cooperative Research Centre for Contaminated Assessment and Remediation of the Environment (CRC CARE) at the Mawson Lakes Campus involves the design of a new two wing building on the site west of Buildings Q & IW. The two wings are to be planned for laboratory and office accommodation respectively. The project also includes the design and construction of a Soils Shed in the Eco- Centre Precinct at the Mawson Lakes Campus. Expect completion of this project is late September 2008.
