Forensic and Applied Psychology Research Group

Greg Ireland
My research interests are focused in a number of areas.
  • Parenting Training: I am interested in the application of parenting training approaches to the psychological problems presented by children and their families.
  • EEG Biofeedback: An innovative technque which involves the use of an EEG and microcomputer technology in an effort to teach individuals how to influence brain state. I am particularly interested in work using this technque with individuals diagnoses as ADHD and Behaviourally disordered, those with chronic pain and those who have suffered mild head injury.
  • Psychological Assessment as Intervention: I am interested in the use of psychological assessments as therapeutic interventions.
