Current research: The development
and use of a young offender psychosocial screening assessment. Topics examined include: the development of an
actuarial recidivism prediction index; substance use and self-harming behaviours;
literacy, numeracy and intellectual functioning of detained youths; tattoos and antisocial
behaviours.
Previous research has been in the
areas of delinquency, ethnopschology (specifically the psychology of migrant adjustment)
and immigration history.
