Projects Abroad

Projects Abroad

Volunteering with Projects Abroad allows you to become part of a community in one of 26 developing countries, to live and work beside local people, understand their world and make friends for life. The key difference is that their program is not just students from school, their projects are open to people from a range of backgrounds providing you with a rich experience.

Their experiences are broken up by location and then types of projects such as: care, teaching, conservation, sports, culture, building and community programmes, providing you with a chance to make a contribution to the local community.  The projects can vary in duration but most volunteers go for between two and four months.

Antipodeans Abroad

Antipodeans Abroad

Antipodeans Aboard differ by offering a program dedicated to students having a break from school to uni called  GAPBreak. GAPbreak participants are introduced to the sights, sounds, smells and sensations of countries and cultures very different to their own. Over a 3 month period you may help build a school in Africa, live in a hill-tribe stilt house in Vietnam, teach disadvantaged children in rural Peru or trek the mighty Indian Himalayas, just to name a few.
