Engineering

Bachelor of Engineering (Materials)
Materials and material processing is at the heart of engineering. Materials engineers select, design and manipulate materials into new and improved products and devices. -
Bachelor of Engineering (Civil and Project Management)
This program prepares students for careers as professional civil engineers who also have skills in project management. Graduates of this program are particularly prepared for careers that focus on the management of civil engineering projects in the construction industry, design consultancies, government agencies, local government and related areas. -
Bachelor of Engineering (Civil and Transport)
Graduates of this program are particularly prepared for careers in the development and implementation of environmentally responsible and efficient transport systems, an area that is critical for the sustainable development of all countries in the world. -
Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical and Mechatronic)
This program actively integrates mechanical engineering with computing, control, automation and actuation. Graduates find employment in the defence, automotive, aviation, automation, manufacturing and electronic industries. -
Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical and Sustainable Systems)
This program prepares students for careers in developing and maintaining sustainable systems in mechanical engineering applications. Students find environmentally sustainable solutions to engineering problems, using both engineering theory and practice. -
Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical and Nanotechnology)
Nanotechnology offers solutions to many current challenges by means of smaller, lighter, faster and better performing materials, components and systems. This program provides fundamental aspects of mechanical engineering combined with nanotechnology and hands-on experience in nanomaterials. - UniSA/Flinders Bachelor of Engineering Programs
Students now have the choice to study the first two years of their degree on a campus closer to home. The first two years of UniSA’s Civil and Mechanical Engineering degrees will be available at Flinders University. Students will then complete the third and fourth years at UniSA’s Mawson Lakes campus. Likewise, the first two years of Flinders’ Biomedical and Robotics Engineering degrees will be offered at UniSA’s Mawson Lakes and City East campuses. Students then complete the third and fourth years at Flinders University. -
Graduate Certificate in Professional Engineering
Practice
This program is designed to provide students with significant exposure to professional engineering practice through a structured work placement within an engineering enterprise. Students will gain first-hand experience of the engineering work environment, practices and culture. -
Doctor of Engineering Practice
This program is designed to provide the opportunity for practicing engineers with a significant amount of experience to complete a program of coursework and thesis in which the thesis component is specifically oriented to enabling them to develop their own practice of engineering or engineering leadership roles.
