Global Experience Student Ambassador Program

I'm One!The Global Experience Student Ambassador program is for motivated Global Experience students who are keen to promote the opportunities and benefits of the Global Experience Program in UniSA representational activities.

Student Ambassadors assist the Global Experience Team in representing the Global Experience program across UniSA's four metropolitan campuses and play a key role in helping Global Experience representation in University wide forums.

Global Experience Student Ambassadors are undergraduate students who are in their second or third year of study and registered in the Global Experience program. Ambassadors will primarily represent the Global Experience program at their home campus, however may be required to travel to City West campus for key Global Experience events.

Student Ambassador responsibilities

  • Represent the Global Experience program at key UniSA events which may include Open Day, UniSA new student Orientation,  Preference Information Events, and Division based events and information sessions
  • Provide current and future UniSA students with information on Global Experience program components, Experience Suite activity recommendations, program benefits, and answer program enquiries
  • Provide students with an insight into the Global Experience program based on their own experience
  • Actively participate in key Global Experience events which will include guest speaker series, industry events and the Global Experience graduation

Criteria

To be considered for the Global Experience Student Ambassador Program students need to have fulfilled the following requirements:

  • Have attended Global Experience Orientation
  • Have successfully completed or currently enrolled in BUSS1056
  • Attend a Student Ambassador training session at role commencement
  • Commit to the role of Global Experience Student Ambassador for the entire academic calendar year
  • To be available for at least two key UniSA events (which may include Open Day, UniSA new student Orientation and Division based events and information sessions) and two key Global Experience events for the duration of the year

Global Experience Student Ambassadors will receive:

  • 10 points towards your Experience Suite
  • Global Experience clothing and merchandise for program representation requirements  
  • Letter of recognition for your valuable contribution to the Global Experience program
  • A Unibooks voucher to the value of $50
  • Professional development opportunities
  • Opportunity to participate in Global Experience event planning meetings
  • Opportunity to undertake a leadership role for your Division within the Global Experience program
