Global Experience Travel Grants

The Global Experience program offers three Travel Grants per year for eligible students to assist in the completion of offshore activities as part of your Experience Suite. These activities can include*:

  • Participation in an unpaid volunteer, internship or work experience program undertaken outside of your academic program. This must be for a minimum duration of 12 days (or its full time equivalent).
  • Attendance or participation in a globally focused seminar, workshop, conference or symposium. Participatory requirements including the presentation of a paper or poster and/or workshop participation
  • Participation in an overseas competition where offshore attendance forms a requirement of the selection process and funding not provided by the host organization or organizing body.

Eligibility:

To be eligible for a Global Experience travel grant students must meet the following criteria:

  • Currently registered in the Global Experience program
  • Not be in receipt of any other scholarship or grant administered by UniSA or host organisation for the primary purpose of undertaking an offshore Experience Suite activity 
  • Submit a written statement in support of your Travel Grant application
  • Attend an interview

To apply: Applications for the 2012 Global Experience Travel Grant open on the 2nd March 2012. To apply, log onto your My UniSA Student Portal and click on My Scholarships and complete an online application. You will need to submit a supporting statement ( minimum 500 words) by the close of applications to: globalexperience@unisa.edu.au.
