History SA presents About Time, a month long celebration of our
diverse and remarkable history. The festival promotes the State's wonderful
collections, places and stories through an amazing range of history-related
activities.

National Sorry day
The Hawke Centre reaffirm the National Sorry Day acknowledgment. National Sorry Day is an annual day of commemoration and remembrance of all those who have been impacted by the government policies of forcible removal that have resulted in the Stolen Generations. More information.
All are welcome to attend the Blessing of the Aboriginal Flag by the Rev. Sid Graham, at St David's Anglican Church, 494 Glynburn Road, Burnside. Refreshments afterwards in the Church Town Hall.
Reconciliation Week
National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is celebrated across Australia each year between 27 May and 3 June. The dates commemorate two significant milestones in the reconciliation journey - the anniversaries of the successful 1967 referendum and the High Court Mabo decision. The Catherine
Helen Spence Memorial Scholarship
The purpose of this
Scholarship (value up to $25,000) is to provide for a woman to undertake in
Australia or overseas, the investigation of social problems and/or a study
in the field of social sciences. The investigation or study should be
relevant to social conditions in South Australia and be capable of being
applied for the benefit of the state.

Appeal for the Solomon Islands
Inspired by the moving
lecture: The
rising sea levels of climate change - the challenge to prepare,
delivered by Alice Aruhe'eta Pollard, and presented in the Hawke Centre
program last year, Just Sustainability Australia are fundraising for those
affected by climate change in the Solomon Islands. Visit the Just
