The Hawke Centre’s membership of the OECD International Futures Program (IFP) benefits researchers, staff and students of the University and allows access to a number of unique resources on many topic areas. The Library manages these collections and makes them available for research. Recently received publications include titles such as:
- The non-profit sector in a changing economy
- OECD guidelines towards environmentally sustainable transport
- Understanding the brain: towards a new learning science
- China in the world economy
- Benchmarking industry-science relationships
- OECD/US Forum on Trade in Educational Services
- The Future of money
Future Trends Database: (Staff access)
Future Trends is a unique database in Australia that provides access to future-oriented information that is pertinent to long-term strategic analysis and decision making. It includes the full text of OECD futures publications as well as an abstracts database of futures related books, papers and articles collected from around the world. The database is available at any of the campus libraries and can be made available to staff from computers in their office. Information on Future Trends database
SourceOECD: (Student & staff access)
This year the library subscribed to SourceOECD, the OECD’s premier internet product, which comprises full text book and periodical collections, a number of reference titles, and 24 OECD statistical databases. Search by publication title or subject area to locate relevant and up-to-date information. Students and staff of the university have access to this rich source of information.
