Geographies conferenceConference drinks will be held on Wednesday 7 April from 6.30 pm at the Samstag Museum. The Samstag Museum is located in the Hawke Building, University of South Australia. We will be joined at the drinks by Dr Cecil Camilleri, Manager, Sustainable Wine Programs, Yalumba Wine Company.
During the conference drinks you will have the opportunity to view the exhibition 'Apart we are together' at the Samstag Museum, which is part of Adelaide International 2010. 'Apart we are together' features works by Tara Donovan (USA), Nina Fischer and Maroan el Sani (Germany), Donghee Koo (Korea), Iman Issa (Egypt), Li Mu (China) and Apichatpong Weerasethakul (Thailand).
The exhibition 'Naturally disturbed' by Sue Kneebone will be open from Tuesday 6 April in the Kaurna Building, adjacent to the Hawke Building. Exhibition flyer (PDF 710 kb).

Some of the visual art exhibitions associated with the Adelaide Festival of Arts will still be open during our conference. In particular, make sure you see these free exhibitions: 2010 Adelaide Biennial of Australian Art (Art Gallery of South Australia, North Terrace), Adelaide International 2010 (in five venues around the city) and Putsch (Tandanya National Aboriginal Cultural Institute, Grenfell St). |
