The Aboriginal Tutoring Program (ATP) offers Aboriginal
and Torres Strait Islander students, free of cost, access
to qualified tutors in metropolitan and regional locations with skills and
experience in a wide range of study areas. Tuition includes all areas of
study such as program content, time management, academic writing, essay
planning and referencing skills. Tutors are available to help with study and
workload demands and to provide support and encouragement to assist with
succeeding at university.
The ATP is available at
no cost to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students enrolled in enabling, undergraduate and postgraduate degree
programs at the University of South Australia.

You can register your interest by submitting an online request and we will contact you to answer any questions you may have about our program and the application process or you can complete the appropriate application and we will be in touch to advise you of its progress.
How to apply for tutoring support? If you are a prospective or current student you may wish to know more please feel free to complete the Student Request or alternatively if you are currently enrolled in a course you can complete the electronic Student Application form and your campus based Aboriginal Student Engagement Officer will contact you.

All ATP Tutors are required to provide evidence of a cleared National Criminal History Record Check (NCHRC) conducted by the Department for Communities and Social Inclusion (DCSI), prior to obtaining employment with the university.
