National Reconciliation Week (NRW) has been held in Australia every year between May 27 and June 3 since 1996. It provides the opportunity for all Australians to reflect on the relationship between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and other Australians.

Where an Aboriginal applicant does not have the standard pre-requisites for entry into a UniSA program they will be invited to participate in the special entry process managed by a Wirringka Student Services staff member.
An applicant’s eligibility is assessed on the basis of their performance in a number of written tasks and an interview. A recommendation to the relevant Division is conducted and an offer made. In this instance an application through SATAC will also need to be made.
For more information about Special Entry, please contact an Aboriginal Student Engagement Officer to discuss your eligibility.
If you have completed year 12 and/or a TAFE Certificate at level 4 or above it is recommended that you apply through the South Australian Tertiary Admissions Centre (SATAC). SATAC Guides and application forms are available in around August of each year and can be obtained from Aboriginal Student Engagement Officer or purchased from any newsagency.
