How do I renew my visa?

When you accept an offer of a University place, UniSA International will issue you with a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) document by email. If you require a new CoE and have extended your Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for 'visa length cover' you will be able to apply for your new Student visa. Please note that most student visas will expire on 30 March if your course concludes in December and on 30 September if your course concludes in July therefore you will need to extend your OSHC to one of these dates.

As you are already in Australia holding a Student visa you should be eligible to apply for your new Student (temporary) visa from DIAC online which is an accelerated process.

It is important that you do not let your Visa expire!

For further information or if you do not receive the CoE, contact UniSA International, Tel. 8302 0114. Email: international.students@unisa.edu.au

What do I need to do if my passport is due to expire while I am in Australia?

Your passport must be valid for the intended length of your study time in Australia. If it is due to expire during your stay, you will need to apply to have it extended through your country’s diplomatic mission in Australia, or in your home country when you return home on holidays.
