With Outlook in Cached Exchange Mode emails which are scheduled for delayed delivery are only sent when outlook is running. Email is not delivered to the exchange server until the delay delivery date time passes.
If you wish to send delayed emails overnight or on weekends please leave outlook running and lock your computer by holding down CTRL + ALT + Delete and selecting Lock Computer.
