The UniSA network can automatically provide the required proxy settings to your web browser when you connect to the network. This provides greater convenience for users who also connect to other networks removing the need to reconfigure proxy settings when changing from one network to another.
Apple Safari settings for manual proxy configuration are detailed below.
Please note: Apple Safari only supports manual proxy configuration.
Open Safari and click Safari in the top left-hand corner

Click Preferences
Click the Advanced tab
Click Change Settings... and enter:

Tick Web Proxy (HTTP) and Secure Web Proxy (HTTPS)
Enter www-proxy.unisa.edu.au and 8080 under Secure Web Proxy Server
Enter *.local, 168.254/16, *.unisa.edu.au under Bypass proxy settings...
Tick Use Passive FTP Mode (PASV)
Click OK
