How do I deal with Phishing emails?
There are different processes in place to handle phishing emails, depending on whether you have responded to the phishing email you have received:
If you have not responded to the phishing email, please report the phishing attack by forwarding the email to the IT Help Desk.
If you have responded to a phishing email you must immediately reset your UniSA passwords and then contact the UniSA IT Help Desk:
After resetting your passwords please contact the UniSA IT Help Desk immediately. If you respond to a phishing email outside of the Help Desk's operating hours please call the After Hours number - do not wait until the next business day to report.
If you did not provide any personal information or your network credentials in your response you should still report the issue immediately (responding to the email confirms that your email address is an active and legitimate email address).
