OneDrive is an online service provided by Microsoft where you can create, upload and share files and access these from a web browser. OneDrive provides:
|-||Online storage - Your OneDrive account includes 25GB worth of space, which allows you to store, share and edit thousands of files!|
|-||Convenience - No matter where you are - on campus, at home, on the move or on the train - you have access to the documents stored in your OneDrive as long as you have an internet connection. You can even download the OneDrive app for your smart phone to view your files while you're on the move.|
|-||Control - Need to work on a group assignment but are finding it impossible to get everyone together? You can choose to share specific files or folders with your fellow students online. You can modify file permissions so that you can edit and work on your assignments without having to be in the same room.|
|-||Publishing power - Got something amazing you want to share? Easy, share links directly to your folders, files and photos from your OneDrive to your blog or webpage.|
|1.||To use OneDrive - all students must comply with Microsoft's Terms and Privacy conditions. On first use, you will be prompted to accept these Microsoft terms and conditions.|
|2.||The use of OneDrive is optional. UniSA does not require you to use OneDrive to complete your studies. If you do not wish to accept Microsoft's Terms and Privacy conditions for the use of OneDrive - that is ok - but you will not be able to utilise the Microsoft OneDrive utility.|
|3.||UniSA and Microsoft will not be held responsible for any and/or all data loss or corruption. Students will have to arrange their own backup or replication of their data. Microsoft provides no commitment to guarantee continuous access to your files; therefore any loss of service may deny access to important files at critical times.|
