What is the timeout setting on my web email session?
When you log in to student email using an internet browser like Internet Explorer or Google Chrome your session will not expire for 24 hours.
It is important to note that if you leave your session unattended this could allow other users to access your email. To prevent this from happening, you should always sign out of your session when you walk away from the computer.
To sign out of your session:
Select the down arrow displayed adjacent to your name in the top right corner of the page, then select Sign Out.
Note: The sign out process can take up to 60 seconds to complete; however you can also sign out immediately by closing your browser windows.
