Office 2010 Suites available at UniSA
Office Professional Plus 2010 is an approved Office Suite version for use at UniSA. The following software is included:
- Word 2010
- Excel 2010
- PowerPoint 2010
- Outlook 2010
- Publisher 2010
- Access 2010
- InfoPath 2010*
- Workspace 2010*
- Communicator 2010
* Note: SharePoint Workspace 2010 and InfoPath 2010 included as part of Office Professional Plus 2010 are not approved or supported for use on UniSA computer systems. These applications are not compatible in the UniSA environment. Equivalent 2007 products should be used as an alternative.

32bit or 64bit Office 2010?
Microsoft recommend you use a 32bit version of Office unless there is a particular need to run the 64bit version. For more information visit the Microsoft web page: Choose the 32-bit or 64-bit version of Microsoft Office
What's new in Office 2010?
There are a few minor changes to the look and feel of Office 2010. The "ribbon" that was introduced in some Office 2007 applications is now included in all Office 2010 applications. Further detail is available from the Microsoft Office web site.
Other Office 2010 Applications
The Office InfoPath 2010 and WorkSpace 2010 components of Office Professional Plus 2010 should not be used as they will not work in the UniSA environment. Office InfoPath 2007 should be used as an alternative.
Microsoft SharePoint Designer 2010 is not approved or supported for use on UniSA computer systems as it is not compatible with the UniSA environment. SharePoint Designer 2007 will continue to be the recommended UniSA web authoring application.
Microsoft Visio 2010 Project 2010 Standard and Professional are also available for use, however, a licence must be purchased for the the use of these particular products. There are no upgrade rights for these products, users wishing to upgrade are required to purchase a new licence.
