Introduction
The University has a licence agreement with Symantec that allows the use of a number of their products, in particular Symantec EndPoint Protection.
Symantec EndPoint Protection is the latest Symantec AntiVirus product.
Who can use an Symantec EndPoint Protection?
Symantec EndPoint Protection can only be used by current UniSA staff and students.
Licence Conditions
Conditions apply for the use of University licensed software. These include:
- UniSA licensed software is not to be used for personal purposes and cannot be used for commercial gain.
- Under no circumstances can application software or licence activation keys be copied from the University software distribution server and taken off site.
- You will read and abide by the licence agreement(s) associated with this Software.
How to obtain a licence and install the product
You do not need to apply for a licence. To install Symantec EndPoint Protection you can either contact the IT Help Desk, they can arrange installation of Symantec EndPoint Protection by your local IT support staff.

Can I use this software at home?
UniSA staff and students can use the Symantec EndPoint Protection on their home computer under this licence agreement, but there are conditions.
