Aviation

The only university in South Australia to offer Aviation
as tertiary qualification with our own flying school located
nearby, UniSA is creating tomorrows aviation professionals
today. With three new aircraft recently added to our already
impressive fleet and hands-on training with the Shark Patrol
during summer over South Australia's metropolitan beaches,
UniSA's Aviation program provides you with the skills and
technical knowledge to begin a successful career in aviation, an
industry that experts predict will have an overwhelming demand
for not only pilots but technical and instructional staff.
Engineering
Room: Mawson Centre
Engineering programs offered by UniSA are diverse and have a
number of flexible pathways. As an Engineering student you will
develop industry related experience through industry project
work, placements and guest speakers. The new Engineering
Mechatronics Lab will also help you gain valuable practice
throughout your studies as a high percentage of UniSA graduates
find full time work upon graduation.
Environmental Science and Geospatial Science
Room: Mawson Centre
Find your place in the world with a Bachelor of Geospatial
Science at UniSA. In this new hands-on program you will
participate in frequent field-studies where you will have the
opportunity to see first-hand how Geospatial Science and
Environmental Science relate to each other. The School of
Natural and Built Environments Experiential Learning Suite,
located at the City East campus, provides you with the learning
environment to develop career knowledge in leading-edge
technologies associated with surveying and digital mapping.
The Bachelor of Environmental Science focuses on the interaction
of people with the natural environment. You will explore dynamic
natural and urban landscapes, biodiversity conservation and
management. The degree offers many field-trip opportunities and
utilises state-of-the-art technologies such as Geographical
Information Systems.
Information Technology

Create, innovate and develop, UniSA's IT degrees are tailored to
your needs. Our IT degrees give you a comprehensive choice of
industry-relevant degree programs which combine real-world
experience with the expertise to succeed. With new learning
spaces such as the IT Development Studio located at the City
West campus, and the IT Development Studio at Mawson Lakes, you
will be prepared for a career in IT.
Mathematics
and Statistics

Mathematics and Statistics is an important part of our everyday
life and graduates of this discipline are highly sought after in
various industries such as risk analysis, game design and market
research. UniSA's Bachelor of Mathematical Sciences or Bachelor
of Quantitative Finance allows you to develop problem-solving
skills, an ability that is highly valued by prospective
employers.
Science / Advanced Materials

Science forms the foundation of our dynamic world and has a
particularly close affiliation with industry and technology. The
Bachelor of Science is one of UniSA's most flexible programs,
with all streams providing you with fundamental experience in
practical fieldwork and active, project-based learning
activities.
