Mawson Lakes campus

Mawson Lakes

The Mawson Lakes campus is located in one of northern Adelaide's rapidly developing suburbs and is home to the Division of Information Technology, Engineering and the Environment.  The campus is situated just 14 kilometres from the city and is easily accessible via public transport.

Mawson Lakes' strong focus on research and its location adjacent to the Technology Park industry research centre make it UniSA's flourishing technology hub.  It features state-of-the-art facilities as well as three major international Research Institutes and ten Research Centres.

With a wide range of programs on offer, including education, computing and information technology, engineering, civil aviation, environmental management and sustainability, applied science, and sports science, Mawson Lakes is home to a large and diverse student population.  Many program also offer mid-year entry.

The Division works closely with the Mawson Lakes and wider northern community in providing access to degree programs, mentoring programs, hosting community events such as Science at the Lakes and applying research to develop Mawson Lakes as a sustainable community. (eg: solar lighting)

Those studying at Mawson Lakes have access to well equipped facilities, including machinery workshops, laboratories, the eco-centre and walk up computers located all around the campus.  Significant extensions to the library have provided the campus with an open, modern space equipped with dedicated study rooms, training facilities and increased computer access.
