2011 ITEE Research Awards
The Division's third annual Research Award Ceremony was held on Wednesday 7 December 2011.
The Awards recognise and reward high level research performance or achievement by researchers and research staff and celebrate their contribution to the Division of Information Technology, Engineering and the Environment.
In 2011 there were six Award categories:

Professor Wasim Saman is awarded the 2011 ITEE Supported Researcher of the Year. This award is based on the number of HERDC publication points and Category 1 research income points.
2011 Leading Research Concentration
Winner:
Centre for Environmental Risk Assessment and Remediation

In 2011, the Centre for Environmental Risk Assessment and Remediation was the leading research centre based on all round performance using combined metrics of research income per FTE, weighted publication points and percentage of journals in A* and A journals.
The Division of ITEE would like to thank the staff who recognised the importance of the awards and took the time to nominate a colleague.
