Vacation scholarships
The Ian Wark Research Institute welcomes applications for
vacation scholarships from students who have consistently achieved a high level of academic performance in their degree program.
As a minimum requirement, students must have completed the first year of
their degree program.
Scholarships apply for up to two months (usually between the December -
February period) and enable successful applicants to work with one or more strong research sectors
within The Wark. The tax-free stipend is $350 per week,
paid fortnightly.
Applicants are encouraged to visit The Wark, to view our facilities, and
to meet some of our research staff and postgraduate students. Project outlines are discussed and developed
in conjunction with successful applicants prior to commencement.

The closing date for applications is 30 September of each year. We will
