Background
Dipankar completed his undergraduate program in engineering from the Indian
Institute of Technology Guwahati in 2006, with a major in Biotechnology. He
then moved to Canada where he pursued a Master’s degree in Electrical
Engineering at University of Calgary and also worked on the development of
novel surface microfluidic systems utilizing the principles of
Dielectrophoresis.
After the completion of his academic program in 2008, Dipankar continued his research at Calgary with the Biosystems Research and Application Group until the end of 2009. He joined The Wark in August 2010.
