Language and Learning image

UniSA's Language, Literacies and Learning (L3) team helps UniSA students develop the language, academic and professional literacies and learning skills needed during university study and in their chosen profession.

Students can get guidance and resources on all aspects of learning at university. This includes strategies for adapting to university, managing new expectations and workloads, developing academic literacies required in particular courses and discipline areas, and general English language development. Students access L3 support both face-to-face (via workshops and 1:1 teaching with L3 Advisers), and electronically (via a huge range of online resources). To start exploring what is available for students, visit the L3 student resources hub.

Staff also work with the L3 team to include in their curriculum the development of academic and professional literacies. In this way, all students enrolled in a course, program or discipline will have the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge needed for academic and professional success. More information about how staff can work with the L3 team can be found at L3 for staff.

The L3 team works with both students and staff across each of the University's four Divisions, UniSA College and the Centre for Regional Engagement (CRE) at Whyalla and Mount Gambier.
