Assessment & Gradebook

The project team has made significant changes to the learnonline assessment functionality. The improved assessment and gradebook will incorporate a seamless integration with Turnitin and Result Entry in Medici, while allowing staff to control the assessment process as required by the needs of the course and its students. The assessment and gradebook enhancement will replace the AssignIT system and will be piloted by selected users from Study Period 5, 2011. |

Assessment
In addition to the current learnonline assessment options, Course Coordinators have the following options:

determine if assessments will be marked according to a graded or non-graded scheme

define whether grades should be displayed to students once an assessment is marked

establish whether students are allowed to request an extension for a particular assessment

allow/deny students the ability to request formative feedback for certain types of assessment prior to the assessment due date

the ability to use Document Services to print assessment submissions
