Folios
e-Portfolios are both demonstrations of the user's abilities and platforms for self-expression. The learnonline ePortfolio will be powered by Mahara.  This is the Universities ePortfolio environment which will be integrated with learnonline course sites and the student portal. Mahara will replace the current ePortfolio software, PebblePad, for which licenses will conclude at the end of 2011.

Mahara, meaning 'think' or 'thought' in Te Reo Maori, is a user-centred environment whose features include personalised views for showcasing evidence based materials, weblog (blog), resume building and social networking amongst other features. The learnonline ePortfolio will be online from Study Period 5, 2011. Current PebblePad users will be able to transfer existing work into the new ePortfolio environment.

Please refer to the Key Contacts for more information about who to contact with any queries.

Instructions on how to export ePortfolio content from PebblePad or FolioSpaces, for import into Mahara, are available here. (doc. 237 KB)
