A Virtual Classroom is an online learning space where students and instructors interact synchronously.

Typically the instructor provides course content through course management applications, multimedia resources, the Internet, video conferencing, etc. Students receive the content and communicate with the teacher via the same technologies. |

A new Virtual Classroom application will replace the current system Centra.
It is anticipated that the new application will be implemented in the second half of 2011.
