The School of Management
Postgraduate Scholars' Association (PSA) is a
student-managed group which aims to represent the views
of the broader community of postgraduate scholars in the
School of Management. The PSA's primary objectives are
to enhance and encourage postgraduate interaction and to
enable teaching and learning opportunities to be
provided during a scholar's candidature. To enable these
objectives to be fulfilled, the PSA seeks to provide an
independent forum on and off campus, where interested
members can meet, socialise and enhance their
postgraduate study.
The PSA aims to encourage debate and
discussion regarding current issues concerning the
postgraduate learning journey. Furthermore the PSA seeks
to raise a more general awareness of these issues
through hosting debates, seminars, forums, guest
lectures, as well as encouraging ongoing discussions and
dialogue amongst members in collaboration with School of
Management academics and professional staff.
In addition, the PSA seeks to
provide its members with links to organisations that can
assist with the learning process as well as developing
opportunities to obtain information about careers,
including volunteering and internships.
Other educational/learning
activities promoted by the PSA include creating and
encouraging student participation in working groups
within areas of interest as well as providing
information about upcoming national and international
conferences and forums.
