Rod Weber is a Senior Lecturer at the University of New South Wales (ADFA campus). Rod has been an active participant in the Mathematics-in-Industry Study Group workshop since1988, and has taken part in all meetings and moderated five problems. In addition, his research has been linked with many applied agencies and businesses in Australia, especially in modelling bushfires and the effects upon plants. His current interests are very broad, and include aviation and food industries.
