MnM Centre commentaries

The MnM commentaries are short analytical pieces that contribute to the intellectual aims of the MnM Centre. A commentary is typically a critical response to a significant current event or the exploration of an important idea that may later be developed into a full publication. Book reviews are also welcome.

The MnM commentaries intend to provide a platform for disseminating ideas to a wide public audience. We therefore encourage academically rigorous submissions that address pressing real world problems in an engaging, creative and accessible style.

The centre welcomes submissions of approximately 1000–2000 words from scholars working in any relevant field across the humanities and social sciences. Postgraduate students may also submit work subject to editorial guidance from MnM research staff. Submissions can be made directly to Dr Chloe Patton.

Note: Longer pieces of 3000–5000 words may be considered for the MnM Working Papers Series.

Disclaimer: The MnM commentaries are published in the name of the authors. The views expressed are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of the MnM Centre, the University of South Australia or its staff.
