International students Welcome Week

Welcome to UniSA!

You are about to begin a new adventure as a student in Adelaide. Although you may have some questions about settling into UniSA and need some tips about living in Adelaide, there will be plenty of time to ask questions and access helpful information and advice during Orientation.

At the start of Welcome Week you will receive your International Student Guide 'pocket book' source of information that includes helpful advice about  settling into UniSA and Adelaide as a new international student.

If you are starting in Study Period 2 (February) or Study Period 5 (July), the Learning and Teaching Unit (LTU) has organised a Welcome Week of activities and events. This is a great way to participate in fun and interactive workshops where you will get to meet other new students and UniSA staff.

Welcome Week will include some important information sessions about being a student in Australia. You'll be able to get helpful assistance from friendly staff and U-Buddies (who are students already studying at UniSA). But, it's not just all about gathering information.

You'll be able to:

Welcome Week is the start of a fortnight of fun and it doesn't just stop there!

After Welcome Week, you'll be able to join other new local students for a School based Orientation program that will introduce you to the essential things you need to know to get started in your study Program.

During this time, you will be able to:

Make sure you visit both the Learning and Teaching Unit website to find out more about your Welcome Week program and the New Students website for more information about your School based Orientation program.
