As a finishing student in the School of Nursing and Midwifery, you will need to organise your enrolment every year, find out about clinical placements and think about your career in nursing or midwifery.

Intent to Register Overseas

If you are looking to gain Nursing or Midwifery Registration with an Overseas Registry / Board, please download and complete the Intent to Register Overseas application form. When returning your application please ensure ALL of the following are included:

  1. Intent to Register Overseas application form (obtained above)
  2. Overseas Registration Form (obtained from your overseas package)
  3. Academic Transcript: original or certified copy (obtained after graduating or from Campus Central)
  4. Clinical Transcript (obtained from Clinical Placement Unit)
  5. Payment of $75 administration fee (credit card, cheque, money order or cash accepted)

Your completed application should be forwarded to School of Nursing and Midwifery, GPO Box 2471, Adelaide, SA, 5001.

The School of Nursing and Midwifery will then directly send your clinical transcript, clinical/theoretical breakdown, program information and other relevant information via registered post to the Overseas Organisation you are wishing to register with.

Transition to Practice Programs (TTPP)

Nursing/Midwifery Transition to Professional Practice programs (also known as Graduate programs) are for nurses and midwives who have successfully completed their undergraduate qualifications, have registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of South Australia (nmbSA) and are commencing their first year of professional practice. Graduate Programs are offered by individual health care facilities and are not part of the University program.
