Other Planetariums

 

The Adelaide Planetarium is the only facility of this kind operating in South Australia and is one of only 6 major facilities in Australia.

• Sir Thomas Brisbane Planetarium in Brisbane (Zeiss Spacemaster)

• Launceston Planetarium (Zeiss ZPK1)

• Melbourne Planetarium at Scienceworks (Digistar II)

• Canberra Space Dome (Zeiss ZPK3)

• Wollongong Science Centre (Zeiss ZPK3)

• Star Dome - New Zealand

• A small facility can also be found at the Sydney Observatory

• Facility at SciTech - Perth

Of all the planetaria operating in Australia, the Adelaide Planetarium at the University of South Australia and the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery in Launceston, Tasmania, are now the only two Zeiss ZPK1’s still in operation.
