About the Movie - Astronaut
Show Duration: 30 minute night sky presentation + 20 minute film
Audience: Suitable for children 6 and older
Presented in stunning high definition 360 degree full dome video and explosive surround sound, Astronaut is an experience like nothing on Earth.
The exploration of space is the greatest endeavour that humankind has ever undertaken. Astronaut; the latest immersive planetarium show to be created by the National Space Centre, takes you from Earth into space......and beyond! Experience a rocket launch from inside the body of an astronaut. Explore the amazing worlds of inner and outer space, from floating around the International Space Station to manoeuvring through microscopic regions of the human body. Discover the perils that lurk in space as we subject 'Chad', our test astronaut, to everything that space has to throw at him.
Note: Toddler sessions are designated to allow parents who need to bring toddlers with older siblings to attend a session. These sessions are available to all ages. We ask that toddlers and babies not be brought into the theatre unless designated as a toddler session.
