Monitor - Using UniSA Staff ID Cards on the Monitor System
UniSA Staff ID Cards
Starting early in 2010, UniSA Staff ID Cards will be issued to all qualifying UniSA Staff members.
In addition to other functionality, the new cards will gradually replace the functionality which to date has been provided by “Monitor Staff Cards”.
IMPORTANT - after a NEW UniSA Staff ID Card has been issued to a UniSA Staff Member:

An existing, valid Monitor Staff Card held by the Staff Member WILL CONTINUE TO OPERATE NORMALLY until further notice without any further action being required.

The new UniSA Staff ID Card will only REPLACE the functionality of an EXISTING Monitor Staff Card after a TRANSFER REQUEST for the current balance and account charging details from the OLD Monitor Staff Card to the NEW UniSA Staff ID Card has been completed. Click here for details

Where the staff holder of the NEW UniSA Staff ID Card did NOT previously hold an existing Monitor Staff Card, the NEW card will not have any Monitor system Photocopying or Printing functionality. If required, such functionality may be requested by an authorised person using an online form at any time after the new UniSA Staff ID Card has been issued. Click here for details
To transfer details from "old" Monitor Staff Card(s) to new UniSA Staff ID Card(s)
The person who is authorised to issue, amend or delete Monitor Staff Cards in a school / unit / division (often the Cost Centre Manager) should use either of the following forms to request that current balances and charging details be transferred from any EXISTING Monitor Staff Card(s) to newly issued UniSA Staff ID cards.
This should be done as soon as practicable after the new UniSA Staff ID cards have been issued and are in the possession of Staff.

Upon receipt at Document Services, form(s) will be processed within one working day
- Until the process for transferring balances, charging details is completed, the "old" card(s) will continue to operate normally
- However, as soon as the processing has been completed,
To set up a UniSA Staff ID Card to use Monitored Photocopiers and Printers
The person who is authorised to issue, amend or delete Monitor Staff Cards in a school / unit / division (often the Cost Centre Manager) should use the following form to request that a UniSA Staff ID Card is to be set up FOR THE FIRST TIME to use Monitored photocopiers and printers.
This form should ONLY be used when the staff member DID NOT PREVIOUSLY HOLD A "MONITOR STAFF CARD"
Upon receipt at Document Services, the completed form will be processed within one working day
- after processing has been completed the NEW UniSA Staff ID Cards will allow the owner to use Monitored Library and Staff photocopiers and printers throughout the university.
