The Magill
campus opens to the public on Friday, 5 September 2003 for the
University’s Indigenous Open Day. Run by UniSA’s Aboriginal and
Islander Support Unit (AISU) on behalf of our Indigenous students, the
annual event encourages Indigenous people to begin tertiary study.
Since 1973 AISU has been providing a range of pastoral, academic and social support services to the 2000 Indigenous students who have studied at the University.
The Indigenous Open Day provides an exciting opportunity to listen to and participate in a discussion about the value of tertiary education for Indigenous people and communities. Other activities include:
