I completed my undergraduate degree and chose to study at UniSA for my postgraduate qualification. I found UniSA’s teaching much better, much more practical. The training was based on practical experience in the field. This included placements in highly relevant treatment units where I assessed, treated and psychologically tested people from a range of backgrounds.
UniSA also has its own psychology clinic giving students further unique opportunities to interact with real clients. I’m now embarking on a professional doctorate with UniSA. Once again, it is very much a hands-on approach, with my current work as a Clinical Advisor to the Magistrates Court Diversion Program forming the basis for components of my study.
