Bois is also a UniSA student part way through a degree in construction
management and economics.
Nick says he has been able to put knowledge gained at uni into practice on My Restaurant Rules – especially in the early stages of fitting out the restaurant.
“Having that background in construction helped me – I could talk with builders about things like supporting beams and materials with some confidence,” he says.
Nick and partner Emily’s Rundle Street restaurant The Red Sea will be shut down if they don’t get enough votes from the public.
“If we get to keep the restaurant, then we’ll definitely be adding a student special to our menu,” he says.
