Vice Chancellor and President of the University of South Australia,
Professor Denise Bradley, was awarded an Honorary Doctoral degree in
Management from Korea’s Pukyong National University this month.
The doctorate was awarded in recognition of Professor Bradley’s extensive involvement in international education and the promotion of mutual understanding between Australia and Korea through her outstanding contribution to the close institutional relationship between UniSA and Pukyong National University. Professor Bradley delivered a special lecture on the leadership challenges and opportunities of the 21st Century at the special ceremony.
For almost 20 years UniSA and Pukyong National University have
strengthened student mobility between Korea and Australia by student
exchanges and have now established the International Double Degree
Program by recognition of prior studies at each home university. This
example of institutional cooperation between the two universities is
regarded as an excellent model of academic exchange nationally and
internationally.
