Clinical Psychology
Professional postgraduate studies in Clinical Psychology have been developed to provide professional education and supervised
practice in the area of clinical psychology. The program, which is accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council,
has a strong practical focus and includes supervised placement experience with regular feedback. Three placement components through
the duration of the program provide excellent networking and mentoring opportunities leading to a very high level of employment of
graduates. The program will help develop skills in:
- psychological assessment
- providing evidence-based psychological intervention
- counselling
- professional and ethical practice of clinical psychology
- understanding best practice in clinical psychology
- critically evaluating research in clinical psychology
