Research committees

Research and Innovation Services provides executive officer support for the following committees:

• Research Policy Committee (RPC)
  RPC - develops policy and evaluate performance in the three major areas of university research: research concentrations, research development and collaboration, and research education
• Research Integrity, Accountability and Compliance Committee (RIACC)
  RIACC - is responsible for overseeing issues related to research integrity, accountability and compliance
  RIACC subcommittees:
  • National Statement Steering Committee
  • Human Research Ethics Committee (UniSA HREC)
  • Chemical and Nanomaterials Subcommittee
  • Institutional Biosafety Committee
• Research Quality, Innovation and Engagement Metrics Working Group (REQUIEM) (staff access only)
  Research Quality, Innovation and Engagement Metrics Working Group considers issues related to the Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) initiative, and research quality, innovation and engagement metrics.
• The National Partnerships Engagement Group (NPEG)
  The National Partnerships Engagement Group (NPEG) provides advice to the Deputy Vice Chancellor and Vice President: Research and Innovation on UniSA's participation in CRCs, evaluates the benefits of CRC bids during selection rounds, and reports periodically on the performance of the CRCs.
• Research Infrastructure Working Party (RIWP)
  Coordinates the acquisition by the University of major research equipment and other infrastructure that will support the highest quality research outputs and to ensure that such infrastructure is consistent with the University's research priorities.
