Research Infrastructure Working Party (RIWP)
The role of the Research Infrastructure Working Party (RIWP) is to coordinate the acquisition by the University of major research equipment and other infrastructure that will support the highest quality research outputs and to ensure that such infrastructure is consistent with the University's research priorities. RIWP reports to the Research Planning Group. It is responsible for recommending the strategic allocation of a budget of approximately $500,000 per year for University research infrastructure.
