Early Career Researcher Networking Award Guidelines

Please be advised that this scheme is currently under review - Please do not apply until further notice

Closing date: 31 August 2015 (Round 2, 2015)

Purpose of the Award

The ECR Networking Award (formerly the ECR International Travel Award) was revised in July 2014 to enable ECRs (Early Career Researchers) to collaborate with research groups of international standing, irrespective of whether the research group is located nationally or internationally.

The award supports the cost of travel and accommodation to visit a collaborator, and up to $6,000 in funding is available per application. A contribution to the total cost of the visit from your School and/or Institute will be regarded favourably.

Approximately 40 awards will be made annually.

The award is not intended to support conference attendance only, but in some disciplines it may be an appropriate networking opportunity. Your Dean of Research will prioritise applications based on the information you provide to meet the selection criteria below.

There are two rounds annually, closing on 31 March and 31 August.

The Award is an internal funding program opportunity.
