Animal research ethics and compliance

Common application forms are now available. These should be used for applications to UniSA AEC and can also be submitted to other AECs with the exception of the University of Adelaide who have their own on-line forms. A print version of this will be accepted by other AECs where dual clearance is required.

The Department of Environment, Water and Natural Resources (DEWNR) website provides the common application forms and guidelines for teaching and research undertaken in South Australia. The website includes forms for the following:

  • Applications for Biomedical Research
  • Applications for Wildlife Studies
  • Applications for Tertiary Teaching
  • Applications for Establishment of a breeding colony
  • Combined annual statistics return and annual and/or final report
  • Minor amendment to approved project
  • Adverse incident report
