Major Research Initiatives can be defined as major research funding opportunities, and other large-scale industry and government research related initiatives, that have one or more of the following characteristics: high value, strategically important, collaborative, multi-disciplinary, high risk, and have complex funding requirements. Young Scientists Exchange Programme

Provides an opportunity for early to mid-career researchers from Australia and China to undertake a two week exchange.  more information

Fellowships to India

Provides support for Early- and Mid-Career Researcher (EMCR) Fellowships for Australian researchers to travel to India and work with leading researchers at major Indian science and technology organisations for a period of between 3 and 9 months. more information
