Research Education and Research Degrees

The Learning and Teaching Unit's Research Education Team provides on-campus workshops and online resources for research students and professional development opportunities for supervisors.

We also offer appointments to UniSA research students studying for PhDs, Masters or Professional Doctorates by Research to assist with writing your thesis, communicating the results of your research through journal articles, conference presentations, the media and public talks (including the Australia and New Zealand-wide 3-Minute Thesis competition which UniSA research students are encouraged to enter).

New and updated information, audio and video streams, and checklists are added to this LTU web site on a regular basis. Please email any comments or recommendations you have about these resources to an academic staff member in the Research Education Team.

Please use the links on the left to access detailed information about what we offer and how we can help.

'Too much to list here. Hugely helpful in many, many areas'

UniSA PhD Candidate, January 2012

"Thank you for writing such comprehensive and engaging resource material for PhD students. I am a part-time student which has meant a 'stop-start' relationship to my research project. I have recently accessed your thesis writing materials on the Uni website to inspire my next 'start' phase. And, I am inspired by reading the resource materials and found them to be really helpful. So thank you for helping to 'kick-start' my research again."
