To be a successful research degree student, you need to maintain good working relations with your supervisors and get help when necessary.
You also need to have a bigger picture view, understanding your responsibilities, the roles of University staff, and the relationships you will have with them.
Academic regulations (including Statement of minimum resources), policies and guidelines are in place to ensure that you complete your degree within the required timeframe. The University has a research structure and processes to support your progression through your candidature.
