Research degree management system (PORTIA)

PORTIA (Postgraduate Research Training Information Assistant) is an interactive research degree management system available to research degree students, their supervisors and research degree managers/administrators.

How does PORTIA work?

PORTIA is a web-based system that enables:

  • up-to-date information on research degree students
  • students and supervisors to plan research and monitor progress related to candidature.

Access to PORTIA

Students

PORTIA is available in myUnisA (student portal). Under the Research heading in the my Services tab, select Portia. PORTIA is accessed using your normal network login. If you are having difficulties logging on please email the Manager: Graduate Research Centre

Staff

PORTIA is available in myUnisA (staff portal). Under the my Research tab, go to the my Supervision left-menu heading, then the my HDR Students tab to access the link.
